Home Dashboard

The Home page is your daily starting point in LiftOff. It surfaces upcoming events, open tasks, recent notes, and today's schedule so you can see what needs attention without opening every project.

See the walkthrough: Home Overview for a screenshot-led tour.

When to use this page

Use Home when you want a quick read on the day or week: what events are coming up, which tasks are still open, what was recently noted, and what is on the schedule today.

Who can do this

All signed-in workspace members see the Home dashboard. Project guests see Home with content limited to projects they can access.

What you will see

The dashboard is organised into focused sections:

Upcoming projects

Shows your next active projects ordered by event date and schedule. Each card includes the project title, client, event date, and a short summary preview when available.

Tap or click a project to open its detail page.

Open tasks

Lists incomplete tasks across your workspace. Use this to spot overdue work or tasks waiting on you.

Recent notes

Shows the latest notes added anywhere in your workspace, with the project name so you can jump to context quickly.

Today's schedule

Summarizes schedule blocks and key timing for today, including prep, travel, setup, event, and teardown blocks when they exist.

How to use Home effectively

  1. Start your day on Home to scan open tasks and today's schedule.
  2. Open a project from Upcoming projects when you need full detail.
  3. Use the section links (arrow icons) to jump to Projects, Tasks, or Calendar for deeper views.
  4. Return to Home from the sidebar or bottom navigation at any time.

Next steps

  • Open a project from Upcoming projects to work on tasks, notes, or files.
  • Use Tasks in the main navigation for a full cross-project task list or board.
  • Use Calendar for month, week, day, and agenda views of dates and schedule blocks.

Good to know

  • Home shows active work by default; completed and archived projects appear in the Projects list filters instead.
  • Recent notes and schedule content depend on what your team has added to projects.
  • Project guests only see data for projects they can access.
