Inventory Overview
The Inventory catalog is your company's shared list of decor, props, equipment, and production items. Use it to track what you own or rent, then match items to project requirements.
What this is for
Keep one searchable catalog instead of scattered spreadsheets. When you plan a project, LiftOff compares requirements against catalog items and highlights gaps that still need a decision.
Who can use this
Owners, admins, and members can browse and manage the catalog. Project guests do not see Inventory in navigation.
How to open Inventory
Select Inventory in the desktop sidebar, or open More → Inventory on mobile.
What you will see
The catalog page shows your items in a searchable list with filters for category, status, and source type (owned vs rental). Select an item to open its detail panel with tabs for overview, logistics, dependencies, task templates, and usage.
What happens next
- Add or edit items in Managing Catalog Items.
- Import a CSV in Import and Export.
- On a project, review matched items and unresolved requirements in the Inventory section. See Matching and Catalog Gaps.
Notes
- Catalog items are shared across your company workspace.
- Archived items stay in the catalog but no longer appear in active filters by default.
