Uploading Files
Upload plans, photos, mockups, recipes, PDFs, and inspiration to the project they belong to.
When to use this page
Centralize reference material so crews and leads find the latest version on show day.
Who can do this
Anyone who can edit the project can upload files.
How to upload
- Open the project.
- Go to Files / Photos.
- Select Upload or drag files into the upload area (desktop).
- Wait for the upload to finish.
- Confirm the suggested file label (mockup, recipe, note, render, or custom labels your company defined).
Photo compression
LiftOff compresses large JPG, PNG, and WebP photos before upload to save space and speed up mobile uploads. PDFs and other documents upload as-is.
File labels
Labels help your team scan files quickly. Change a label after upload:
- Mobile: Press and hold the file, then choose a label.
- Desktop: Click the file and change the label.
Owners and admins manage available labels in Planning Lists.
Who can delete files
- You can delete files you uploaded.
- Owners and admins can delete any file in the company workspace.
Next steps
- Use files in AI features or reports.
- Attach files to notes.
Good to know
- Upload limits apply to very large files; try a closer crop or PDF split if upload fails.
- Only upload content your company is allowed to store in LiftOff.
