Managing Catalog Items
Add and maintain items in your company inventory catalog so project matching stays accurate.
What this is for
Build a practical catalog your team can search during planning. Each item captures what it is, how you source it, and logistics details that help with pack lists and scheduling.
Who can use this
Owners, admins, and members can create and edit catalog items.
How to add an item
- Open Inventory.
- Select Add item.
- Enter the name and category.
- Set source type — owned or rental.
- Add optional details: inventory code, quantity, dimensions, prep times, transport method, and status.
- Save the item.
How to edit an item
- Select the item in the catalog list.
- Choose Edit from the detail panel or open a specific section to complete missing logistics.
- Update fields and save.

- Match items to projects from the project Inventory section.

Notes
- Use clear, searchable names. "Gold sequin backdrop 8x10" beats "Backdrop 1".
- Archive items you no longer use instead of deleting historical references.
