AI Settings
Configure how LiftOff AI writes summaries, suggests tasks, drafts projects, and supports reports for your company.
When to use this page
Align AI output with your services, tone, and production vocabulary.
Who can do this
Owners and admins manage AI settings. Members can use AI features when they are enabled for the workspace.
Open AI settings
Go to Settings → AI settings.
Feature availability
Confirm which AI features are enabled for your workspace, such as:
- Project drafts and summaries from images
- Task suggestions
- Note generation from attachments
- AI report sections
- AI renders (configured alongside render workflows on projects)
Rules and preferences
Rule groups
Add short rules LiftOff follows when generating content:
- Global rules: Apply to all AI features
- Task generation rules: Shape suggested tasks
- Project summary rules: Shape summaries and narrative sections
Example rule: "Prefer actionable setup and teardown tasks."

Templates and examples
Some workspaces include seeded templates and examples that demonstrate good output. Review and replace with your own standards.
