Schedule Settings
Schedule settings control default timing for prep, setup, teardown, and travel, plus whether LiftOff auto-creates schedule blocks on projects.
When to use this page
Apply consistent run-of-show defaults across events so generated schedule blocks match how your company plans installs.
Who can do this
Owners and admins manage schedule settings.
Open Schedule settings
Go to Settings → Schedule blocks.
Default durations
Configure typical minutes for:
- Prep
- Setup
- Teardown
- Travel buffer
LiftOff uses these when generating blocks from project setup, event, and teardown times.
Auto-create schedule blocks
When enabled, saving project schedule fields creates draft blocks on the project timeline. When disabled, teams add blocks manually.
Review requirements
Choose when teams must review generated blocks:
- Always
- Only after AI or generated changes
- Never
Default block status
New blocks can start as Draft, Tentative, or Confirmed depending on your process.
Project overrides
Choose whether individual projects may override company schedule defaults.
