Using the Task Board
The Tasks page board view groups work into columns so you can scan status at a glance and drag tasks between stages.
When to use this page
Use the board during production meetings or weekly check-ins when you want a kanban-style view across projects.
Who can do this
All workspace members with task access can use list and board views.
How to open the board
- Go to Tasks in the main navigation.
- Switch from List to Board view.
Board columns
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unassigned | Tasks with no assignee |
| To Do | Not started |
| In Progress | Work underway |
| Done | Completed |
Move tasks on the board
Desktop: Drag a task card to another column to update its status or assignee in supported views.
Mobile: Press and hold a card, then drag to the target column.
Changes save when you drop the card.
Filters and sorting
Use filters to narrow by status, project, or assignee. List view offers additional sort options when you need a flat table instead of columns.
Next steps
- Open a task card to edit details or jump to the parent project.
- Pair the board with Home for daily standups.
Good to know
- The board shows tasks across projects you can access.
- Very large task lists may be easier to manage with list view and filters.
