Editing Project Details
Update a project when dates change, the client confirms new details, the venue moves, or your team assignment shifts.
When to use this page
Keep the project record accurate so tasks, calendar entries, reports, and notifications reflect reality.
Who can do this
Owners, admins, and members can edit projects they can access. Archived projects have limited editing until they are unarchived.
How to edit a project
From the project page
- Open the project.
- Select Edit project in the header (or open Quick Add if you use that entry point).
- Update the fields you need.
- Save your changes.

Location lookup
When you enter a location, LiftOff can suggest addresses to help keep venue details consistent. Pick the correct result for your venue.
Schedule and calendar impact
Changing setup, event, or teardown times may update generated schedule blocks. If your company requires review after AI or generated schedule changes, you may see the Project Review flow.
Next steps
- Assigned team members may receive notification emails when project details change, depending on your notification settings.
- Updated timing appears on the project timeline and Calendar.
- Reports generated after the edit will use the new details.
Good to know
- Some status changes affect whether the project appears in Active, Completed, or Archived lists.
- Always double-check event dates and venue before sharing reports with clients.
